When is the best time to book a newborn photography session in Brisbane?
It’s best to book your session during pregnancy—ideally in your second or early third trimester. This ensures I’ll have space around your due date, and we’ll confirm the session once baby arrives.

How old should my baby be for a newborn session?
The ideal time for a newborn shoot is between 5 and 14 days old. However, I photograph babies up to 5 weeks and adjust the posing style based on their age and comfort.

What happens if my baby arrives early or late?
That’s totally fine! I only take a limited number of newborns per month so I can be flexible. We’ll reschedule as needed after your baby is born.

Where are you located?
My private studio is based in Rothwell, North Brisbane—servicing families from Brisbane, Moreton Bay, Sunshine Coast, and surrounding suburbs.

Is your studio safe for newborns?
Yes. I have over 16 years of experience and follow the highest safety standards. My studio is warm, clean, calm, and baby-friendly, so you can relax knowing your little one is in good hands.

Do you provide props and outfits for newborn photos?
Yes! I have a full range of wraps, outfits, bonnets, headbands, and props. You don’t need to bring anything—just baby and essentials like nappies or milk.

Can parents and siblings be in the photos too?
Absolutely! Parents and siblings are welcome in your session. Immediate family is included in all packages, and you can add extended family for a small fee if you'd like.

What if my baby doesn’t sleep or is unsettled?
Don’t worry—this is completely normal. Sessions are baby-led, and I allow plenty of time for feeding, cuddling, and settling so we can capture beautiful moments at baby’s pace.

How long does a newborn session last?
Most sessions last around 2 to 3 hours. This gives us plenty of time to photograph baby in multiple setups while keeping the environment relaxed and stress-free.

When will I receive the photos?
Your proof gallery will be ready within 7–10 days. After you choose your favourites, your final edited images will be delivered within 2 weeks.

Do you offer Afterpay or payment plans?
Yes, Afterpay and other flexible payment options are available to help make your investment more manageable.

MATERNITY PHOTOGRAPHY

When should I schedule my maternity session?
The best time for maternity photos is between 28–34 weeks when your bump is showing beautifully, and you’re still feeling comfortable.

What should I wear for my maternity session?
You can wear your own outfits or choose from over 200 designer gowns, robes, and drapes in my exclusive client closet. I’ll help you select pieces that flatter your style and body.

Do you offer outdoor maternity photos?
Yes! I offer both studio and outdoor maternity sessions. I’ll suggest stunning natural locations around Brisbane and Moreton Bay that fit your vision.

Can my partner and children join the session?
Definitely. These sessions are all about celebrating your journey, and partners and children are always welcome to join the shoot.

Do you offer a maternity + newborn package?
Yes! My BellyBaby Package includes both sessions, bonus images, and a $50 gift card toward a future family session.

GENERAL QUESTIONS

How far in advance should I book?
For newborns and maternity, I recommend booking at least 2–3 months in advance to secure your ideal date, especially for weekends or peak seasons.

Can I purchase additional digital images later?
Yes, after your proof gallery is delivered, you’ll have the option to upgrade your package or purchase extra images individually.

Do you offer gift cards?
Yes! Gift vouchers are a beautiful way to surprise expecting parents or celebrate a growing family. Available for any amount or package.

Do you offer mini sessions?
I run limited edition mini sessions throughout the year, such as Christmas and Mother’s Day. These are announced on my social media and newsletter first.
